Thousand Island Dressing

Here's a quick recipe for Thousand Island Dressing.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons  mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons  ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon finely diced dill pickle
  • 1 teaspoon brown spicy mustard
  • Pinch or two of ground black pepper
  • Pinch or two of onion powder

Instructions:

  1. Mix mayonnaise,  yogurt, and ketchup together in a small bowl.
  2. Mix in diced pickles, mustard, ground pepper and mustard.
  3. If using for a salad dressing, add in a tablespoon or so of milk to thin.

Carole's Notes:

This is pretty simple, but I thought I would record it since I don't like bottled salad dressings. I like the sweet to tangy proportions.

I use the thicker dressing on sandwiches, and the thinned version on salads.
