Beef Wellington

It turns out my sister Sue is also a foodie. She and I decided this afternoon that we would be making Beef Wellington for dinner. We went to the store for supplies, and had a feast within 3 hours of returning from the store.

Cornetti

I saw a mention of baking cornetti in a book I was reading, so I decided to learn what they were. I found out that they were the Italian version of croissants, but sweeter with an enriched dough. I decided to make some!

 

Cream Cheese Puff Pastries

My mom wanted a 'nicey' - a sweet baked breakfast treat - this time she thought it should contain cream cheese and maybe icing. I decided to help her make a cream cheese puff pastries in my new Silpat muffin pan (the pan was my birthday present  from her!)
