Mini Custardy Apple Tarts

 I saw a reference recently to 'custardly apple squares' and wanted to make a small pie version. I adapted some recipes to make my version with help from my mom.

Cherry Clafoutis

I saw a recipe for a 'simply delicious cherry dessert' the same morning I had some cherries thawing.
I decided I needed a cherry pitter, and since Amazon would not deliver today, I went shopping.
I now own a cherry pitter, and have made my first clafoutis.

Fruit and Custard Tartlets (aka mini pies)

Alex is coming home for Christmas! I was trying to clean his room, but I thought he might prefer treats and a messy room??
I think he prefers apple as a pie variety, so I made some apple and custard mini muffin size pies. Or maybe they are tartlets...

Mounds Bar Pie

I made too much coconut custard filling for the previous Coconut Custard Mini Pies. I did not feel like making more mini pies, so I made a Mounds Bar Pie out of the rest.

Coconut Custard Mini Pies

Chef's challenge - make 24 mini muffin size pies to celebrate Brandi visiting.  I asked Brandi what her favorite pie was. she said Coconut Custard, and I had never made a coconut custard before.
