Fresh Peach Ice Cream

We were having Alex and Amanda over, so we decided to make fresh peach ice cream. This is the recipe Doug made.



Ingredients:

  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 2 cups peaches, peeled and pitted
    (about 2.5 peaches large peaches from Costco)
  • 1.5 cups sugar

Instructions:

  1. Pulverize peaches in blender, then blend in sugar and half-and-half.
  2. Pour ice cream base in 1.5 quart ice cream freezer, and let mix for 20 - 30 minutes.
  3. Pack the ice cream for about an hour or so, then serve.

Carole's Notes:

We all liked this! It is the most delicious way to each peaches, and goes well with Pecan Tuiles.
