I made some pecan pie bars for Alex - and saved a few to bring up to my mom. I found a pecan pie bar recipe, and switched out the crust for my sourdough one.

Vanilla Pecan Mini Coffeecakes

My sister Libby gave me a new cookbook, so I had to make something from it. My mom and I tweaked one recipe a bit, and made up a cupcake-sized versions of the Vanilla Pecan Coffeecake from Baking With Less Sugar.

Old Fashioned Fruit Cake

 Since Nicole made an English Christmas Cake, I decided to make Doug an old fashioned fruit cake. We will also see Ben, Alex, Joanne, and my Mom in December, so we will share some cake with them as well.

  

Mini King Cakes

One night Doug said he had never hear of King Cakes, and Mardi Gras was coming. I decided to make some mini ones.

Balava Cups

We had some honey to use up, so I decide to make some Balava Cups.

Air Fryer Brownies (lower carb)

Alex mentioned that he and Joanne had made brownies, but we did not get dessert tonight.

I decided we needed brownies too, so I made some Almond Flour Brownies  (lower carb!) in the air fryer. (We have no oven during the kitchen renovation...)

Chocolate Pecan Caramel Kringle

It's Jennifer's birthday today, so I made my first Kringle. Actually, it's King Arthur's #bakealong version of Kringle, with a Chocolate Pecan Caramel topping. (I made 4, and will take 3 to social hour tomorrow.)

Pecan Pie

So it is Pi Day. I thought Doug would like pecan pie, which I have not made in a long while. This version has a bit of bourbon for flavoring, and some chocolate on part of it (for me!)

Blueberry Pecan Corn Flour Mini Muffins (Gluten Free)

John asked for a taste of my previous blueberry muffins. I decided to make up some gluten free ones for him, so melded a couple of recipes together. (This recipe made about 30 mini muffins.)
