Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
(optional - I added this for more cinnamon flavor) - 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, beat butter until fluffy. Beat in sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon until creamy.
- Beat in vanilla and egg until fluffy.
- Sprinkle salt over dough. Beat in flour until well blended.
(Optional - chill dough for half an hour or so in refrigerator.) - In small container with a lid, mix up granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Fill cookie spritzer, and press dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over cookies.
- Bake 7 minutes or until edges are light golden.
- Let the cookies cool 5 minutes on the pan, then move to cooling racks.
