Trying another version of an almonf flour pizza crust.

Ingredients:
- 8 ounces sourdough starter
- 2 teaspoons yeast
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups (8 ounces) almond flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/32 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions:
- Start to preheat oven to 175, shut off after 2 minutes or os
- Mix yeast and sourdough starter together in mixer bowl, then gather other ingredients
- Beat egg and olive oil together, add to starter
- Add in almond flour, baking soda, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder
- Knead with stand mixer for 5 minutes or so until well combined. (Will kind of feel like Playdough)
- Grease two sheets of parchment paper with cooking spray
- Place dough on greased paper, flattten somewhat, top with greased paper
- Use a small rolling pin to roll out flat in about a 14" circle
- Remove top parchment paper, and smooth out edges making a very small rim
- Let dough 'proof' for 15 minutes in the slightly wamed oven. The dough should be a little puffy - but it won't rise much since it is mostly almond flour.
- Remove dough from oven, preheat oven to 400 degrees for about 15 minutes
- Pee-bake crust for about 8 to 10 minutes until golden.
- Top lightly with sauce cheese, pre-cooked veggies, cooked sausage, and pepperoni
- Bake for another 5 min
Carole's Notes:
I liked the pizza - the toppings were good. The crust was flat and crispy - I did reduce heat in directions. The crust was ok - actual pizza dough is better. The recipe is adapted from https://www.sweetashoney.co/keto-almond-flour-pizza-crust/ and https://carolelikesroundfood.blogspot.com/2020/03/lower-carb-almond-flour-pizza-dough.html
