We were having Alex and Amanda over, so we decided to make fresh peach ice cream. This is the recipe Doug made.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 2 cups peaches, peeled and pitted
(about 2.5 peaches large peaches from Costco)
- 1.5 cups sugar
Instructions:
- Pulverize peaches in blender, then blend in sugar and half-and-half.
- Pour ice cream base in 1.5 quart ice cream freezer, and let mix for 20 - 30 minutes.
- Pack the ice cream for about an hour or so, then serve.

We all liked this! It is the most delicious way to each peaches, and goes well with
Pecan Tuiles.
