Study of the Journey Lap Blanket

I've decided to add pictures of some of my craft projects.

I wanted to make a lap blanket with greens and blues and some white for my friend Carissa. I found a pattern that had some interesting textures, so I made it in some different colors.

I used the pattern from https://thecrochetcrowd.com/christmas-stitch-along-study-of-the-journey/ with just a few tweaks. (In two places I added an extra row for some wider bands of color.)

The blanket took about 3 weeks, including finding a pattern I liked!

 I liked all the texture, especially the edge.

It ended up being about 54" x 54" inches, so a nice lap blanket size.

I used mostly Caron Super Soft yarn from my stash.
