Medieval Cloak for Ben

While in Norway, Ben was looking a a cloak in a gift shop. It did not quite fit him - Doug suggested to Ben that instead his mom could make him a bespoke cloak. So I did!
   

It was a collaborative process - Ben and I discussed cloak ideas.

Ben found a clasp he liked, and sent it to me to apply.

Dad got to be the model --- in the summer, in Florida. Here is the back view.

Here is the lining, although worn differently then intended.

I used some "dragon scale" buttons to allow the liner to button into the cloak.

I used the "Simplicity 8770 Unisex Fantasy Halloween and Cosplay Cape Costume Sewing Pattern", and made some adjustments.
