I mostly followed this recipe:

I also wrapped the legs, and tied the wings to the turkey.
I also tried the http://therunawayspoon.com/blog/2011/11/make-ahead-gravy-for-your-turkey/ - I found the drippings from the turkey were too bacon flavored me to be able to add very much to the gravy. Also, the carmelized onions came out sweeter then I expected. Next time I would make stock and simmer veggies longer, and drop the carmelized onion part.
