Ingredients:
Brownie Layer:
- 5 tablespoons (60 g) vegetable oil
- 6 tablespoons (80g) granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons (54g) all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons milk*
- 6 tablespoons (48g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 tablespoons chocolate chips
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cookie layer:
- 2 tablespoons 928g) butter , melted
- 8 teaspoons (38g) brown sugar
- 2 tablespoon (28 g) granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 7 tablespoons (62 g) all-purpose flour
- 1/16 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons (32 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 tablespoons (32 g) chopped walnuts
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and lightly grease two 16-ounce ramekin.
- BROWNIE LAYER:
In a small bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, and cocoa powder - Mix the oil, egg, and vanilla in a small cup, then add to he dry ingredients. Stir until just combined, adding in chocolate chips and nuts.
- Transfer the half the brownie batter to one of the greased ramekin, smoothing it into an even layer. (Maybe 200 gr each?
- COOKIE LAYER:
In a small bowl, melt butter, stir in the sugars, vanilla, and salt. - Mix in the egg yolks - stir until smooth.
- Add flour, stirring until just combined. Stir in flour. most of chips and nuts. reserving some chips to sprinkle on top.
- Layer this cookie dough over the brownie batter in the ramekin, sorinkle with reserved chips.
- Place the filled ramekins on a rimmed baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and the brookie is cooked through.
- To check to see if itis done, insert a toothpick into the center; if it comes out clean, the brookie is done.
