Ingredients:
- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk (about 400 gr)
- 1 cup brown sugar (about 200 gr)
- 8 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (60 gr)
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter (113 gr, or 1 stick) cut into 1/4" chunks
Instructions:
- In a 20 ounces or so bowl that fits in the Instant Pot, combine the sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, salt, and unsweetened cocoa powder. Stir well.
- Add the unsalted butter(dices) into small pieces, and mix to combine.
- Place a trivet inside Instant Pot.
- Tightly seal the pan with aluminum foil.
- Put the pan onto the trivet.
- Add enough water to the Instant Pot to come up about 3/4 of the way up the pan.
- Close and lock the lid.
- Cook on High Pressure for 40 minutes.
- Let release naturally - this make take an hour.
- Add in the vanilla, then stir with a spoon or a whisk for a few minutes until the sauce is very smooth.
