Marinade for Chicken

Doug suggested we grill some marinated chicken. We liked this recipe.


Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1.5 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 
  • 1.5b pounds of chicken breasts
 

Instructions:

  1. Whisk vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil,  and splices  together in a bowl.
  2. Pour into a resealable plastic bag. 
  3. Add chicken, coat with the marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator, preferable for at least 1 hour, turning a couple of times.
  4. Drain and discard marinade.
  5. Grill chicken on a preheated grill until no longer pink in the center, 4 to 5 minutes per side.

We all liked this - the marinade and grill flavors made a light and tasty flavor.
