Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 2 - 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1 pound chicken, cut into thin strips
Instructions:
- Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F for a couple of minutes.
- Mix almond flour, parmesan cheese, and spices together.
- Dip each chicken piece into seasoned flour, turning to coat well. Collect several on a plate, then spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Lay chicken strips sprayed side down in the basket of the air fryer. Spray the top side with cooking spray.
- Stack a rack over the first layer, and add additional chicken strips.
- Cook about 8 - 10 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of each strip should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
Carole's Notes:
We liked these! They are fairly quick to cook, and are "lower carb" since we are using almond flour. This should make about 4 servings.
