Ingredients:
- 2 cups of ketchup
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (or a mix soy sauce and steak sauce)
- 1 tablespoons Sriracha
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 pounds of hot dogs, cut into 4 or 5 'logs' per hot dog
(I used turkey dogs)
Instructions:
- Mix together the sauce ingredients in the bowl of your crockpot.
- Stir the cut hot dogs into a slow cooker, coating all with the sauce.
- Let cook on low for 4 - 5 hrs (preferrable), or on high for 2 - 3 hours.
- Serve with toothpicks, or in a bowl with a spoon.
Carole's Notes:
I added about 1/4 cup more ketchup to the original recipe's 1.5 cups. I will use 2 cups next time, especially if I cook these on high again. The recipe is lightly adapted from http://damndelicious.net/2014/10/20/slow-cooker-cocktail-sausages/
