Coconut Oil Fudge

I was thinking about a non-milk based gluten free dessert with chocolate. I surfed the Internet, and came up with the Coconut Oil Fudge.



Silken Pumpkin Pie

I volunteered to make something for for Wendy's dinner. Dessert seemed like a good choice - it can be round! And I learned that Anne is gluten and dairy intolerant. Hmm, what to make? How about a vegan pumpkin pie?



Crockpot Hot Dog Bites

Some scouts are coming over to work with Doug on a camping merit badge at noon. First one,  now two of them plan to prepare 'some' camping meals, and share them with the other Scouts. I decided to supplement whatever they made with some hot dog bites in case there is not enough food to share with all.

Chicken Teriyaki

My son Alex gave me a teriyaki sauce recipe of 2 parts soy sauce, 2 parts honey, 1 part wasabi paste. I followed it a bit loosely. It still turned out good!

Flammekueche

While in Montreal last month, I had a Flammekueche one night for dinner. I decided to make one for dinner tonight.
